Burleson Schools Training To Defend Against Gunmen

In a city near Dallas Texas known as Burleson the schools are training students to defend against gunmen.

Really! They're not being taught to hide under desks. They are not being told to run. They are being told to fight back. What a novel Idea!

Part of the course, called Critical Incident Response, involves a training video that shows students throwing objects and then rushing and tackling a gunman.

We've tried hiding under desk and waiting for the poilce to arrive. That hasn't worked so good. Maybe we can try this.

I for one would rather die fighting than cowering under a desk.

I'd rather see my grandaughter fight back than to live through what those girls in Colorado lived through a few weeks ago. Or the Amish girls.
