Unprepared People and hurricanes
I'm sitting here listening to the people from Florida whining about how the government hasn't come by and given them every thing they ever dreamed of after Wilma went through.Seems that waiting in line for free water and ice is now just unacceptable.
"Look at this line! I gotta wait all day in this line for one bottle of water and a bag of ice." Didn't the government know Wilma was coming?
OK I added that last part about Wilma coming.
I guess these idiots didn't know that hurricane wilma was coming. That or maybe they are too stupid to fill a bath tub with water. They couldn't even fill a few bottles with water. Hey people, there's water in your water heater!
Haven't they been listening to the news? Have they had their head up their butts for the last few months.
PEOPLE!
Remember hurricane Katrina?
How about Rita?
New Orleans, how about New Orleans? Does anybody remember New Orleans?
When a hurricane is coming you need to put a few days worth of food and water aside for when it gets there and does what every hurricane does.
I'm sorry if I seem uncaring. But I am just tired of this intitlement attitude. Everybody seems to think that the government is supposed to do everything for them. And I am sick of that attitude.
A lot of lives would have been saved in New Orleans if they had filled a few bottles with water and maybe bought a few cans of beans before the hurricane got there.
But everybody seems to think that they are supposed to sit on their hands and wait for the government to come give them food and water. Then they stand in line waiting for that water and whine into the cameras.
I'm tired of it. Wish there was something I could do about it
