The new Pope is too Catholic!
Well, that seems to be what the liberal press has decided. In report after report I hear the mainstream press saying that the Catholic Church has made a big mistake by electing a Pope that is "too conservative".
They whine about how he won't "give women a stronger roll in the church". Meaning make them Priests.
They snivel about how he probably won't loosen the Churches stand on birth control or abortion.
They prattle about liberal issue after liberal issue the they say he won't take the "proper" stance on.
They go so far as to say that this will reduce church attendance and be the ruin of the Catholic Church.
What they are saying is this Pope will be too Catholic. He won't compromise the basic tenants of the Catholic faith and make the church more morally subjective. More like the press.
Moral subjectivism
Are Morals Objective?
What they are saying is that the new Pope, Pope Benedict the 16th, will not be an atheist liberal.
What a surprise!
What a surprise that our society is going down the tubes with such enlightened people as the press feeding their moral subjectivism into our homes every day.
Most of the press hasn't a clue what religion is. Most of them think people who believe in God are naive and, stupid and uneducated. They believe in moral subjectivism which says "if it seems right to you, it is".
The problem with moral subjectivism is that it is chaos. How can a society work if everybody makes up their own right and wrong as they go along?
This is how we get people who sit in a court room accused of murder believing that what they did was right because "he dissed me" or "he cut me off in traffic" or who drown their children because they were inconvenient. (Or women who abort them before they are born, because they are inconvenient.)
Just as there is a certain set of physical laws that govern how the universe operates and keeps everything in proper order, there has to be a universal set of basic principles that govern society and keep it in order.
That is what religion does. Even if there were no God, (and there is) following the rules put forth by the Christian religion would make for a far better society than we have now.
What the new Pope needs to do is find a way to get the moral subjectivists out of the news media. Or at least get some non-biased people reporting the news.
Then get the moral subjectivists out of our schools. Schools should be a place to learn readin' writin' and 'rithmatic, not a political indoctrination center for the liberal moral subjectivists like they are now.

Moral subjectivism
If subjectivism is true, nothing (such as intent) inherently makes an action right or wrong
