Just another rant
This prisoner abuse photo scandal could have been left on a back burner until after the war. It's not like it is some expose of some cover up. The Pentagon was handling it correctly months before the press ever heard of it. But instead the Un-American Liberal Elitist press blew it all out of proportion, couldn't stop talking about it, repeated it endlessly, and even withheld some of the photos so they could rekindle the flames when they began to die down. I think they did that to hurt the war effort, and to hurt Bush, and America.
Nick Berg died a horrible death because of the way those pictures were handled by the American press. His mother has CNN, New York Times, ABC, NBC, etc to thank for the headless body that is being delivered to her.
How many more headless bodies will be delivered to mothers and wives and children, just so somebody could make Bush look bad?
When I watch the evening news I see an organization that shows anything bad about the war, anything bad about Bush, anything bad about America. While they studiously ignore any of the good things about Bush or America, or anything good happening in Iraq. And it pisses me off.
They also forgot to mention the THREE TRUCKLOADS of VX gas found in the hands of Jihadist in Syria recently. Do you reckon a handfull of terrorist made that in their garage? Wonder where that VX gas came from? Why did they play that one down? Because it casts doubt on their lie that Saddam had no WMD. But that's a whole 'nother subject.
Ultimately I believe that the biggest problem facing America today is not Jihadist Terror. It's partisan politics.
When a anyone puts the good of their political party or a particular candidate ahead of what's good for the country that is just wrong.
Right now America is in a war that we must win. If we don't we will be seeing suicide bombers in Kansas City and San Francisco just like the ones in Isreal.
Undermining the war effort just to make George Bush look bad is good for the Jihadist, and only gives them more power.
And now bad news from Iraq
REAL prisoner abuseAn American businessman was beheaded in Iraq recently, by Alquead monsters. The video has surfaced showing him being bent over and his head sawed off with a knife.
This is supposed to be retaliation for prisoner abuse by American soldiers.
When Americans and Brits did bad things to Muslims/Iraqis, Americans and Brits were shocked, and saddened, and the perpetrators were swiftly brought to justice.
But this animal claiming to be human, saws an American's head off with a knife, and he becomes a hero to Muslims. Muslims are dancing in the streets again.
When I see Arabs and Muslims outraged at this sort of behavior,
When I hear Arabs and Muslims in powerful positions applogizing for this sort of behavior,
Wjen I hera Imams and CLerics preaching against this sort of thing, instead of praising it,
when I see a Muslim government hunt him down and bring him to justice.
Then I'll believe that the vast majority of Arabs and Muslims aren't just like him, at heart.
We won't see it. Just like we didn't see them appoligize for the 9/11 attacks.
I bet the liberal elite media won't show this video. It would cause hatred towards their beloved Islam.
Of course these same people just can't stop showing the "prisoner abuse" photos of American soldiers abusing Iraqi prisoners.
It couldn't be because they want to cause hatred towards American Soldiers, could it?

Mid East Governments have no business condemning the US over torture
Just because someone else does something bad is no justification for doing something bad yourself. I'm not trying to excuse the actions of the American Soldiers.But....
There's not a single government in the Middle East that has any right to critisize America over prisoner abuse.
Torture and murder are common in prisons throughout the Middle East.
If that prison were still run by Saddam the soldiers would be punished for being too soft on the prisoners. But Saddam is no longer in charge so let's look at the rest of the Middle Easter Governments still in existance.

Torture and killing of prisoners is common and accepted in the Middle East. It sanctioned by the government and the Muslim Clergy.
Torture is rare and illegal in the US or in our Military. When it happens we act to stop it and punish the offenders. When it happens our people are angered.
George W Bush owes no-one an apology. He acted correctly as soon as he learned of these law breakers.
