What would Mohammed do?
I only recently became aware that some people "blame" Jews for killing Jesus.I don't quite understand.
According to the Bible, Jesus came to earth to be a sacrifice for the sins of men.
So if Jews killed him, weren't they doing Gods will?
Weren't they helping Jesus complete his mission?
Don't Christian's owe the Jews a thank you?
If the Jews hadn't sacrificed Jesus, Christians would not be forgiven their sins.
Or am I just confused?
An interesting blog. He talks a lot about what's good about America and Americans.
Ejectejecteject
He even has a program of "how to create the perfect American. :)
Don't miss this
Yes, I'm for Bush
You may have noticed the "Blogs for Bush" banners. Yes, I support George W. Bush for President. No I'm not a right wing wacko. (OK I probably am some kind of wacko, just not a right wing one.) Today the second most important issue in the world is the Holy War declared on the US and the west by Osama and his ilk. Either we defeat this Jihadist movement or the streets of every city in the US will eventually be like the streets of Isreal, crowded with Suicide Bombers.
If you want to be able to take your kids to McDonalds or leave them at school without worrying about some Muslim wacko blowing them up, then you need to support George W. Bush.
He is the only candidate who has any plan what-so-ever as to what to do about this problem.
The rest just want to go back to the Clinton Method. We can see where that got us.
3000+ dead and a cost to our economy of over a Trillion dollars. We can't afford another one of those.
Is GWB right when he says Islam is a religion of peace?
Here's an interesting article. Is Islam a religion of peace?
A few excerps from it.
If this isn't about Islam, why the worldwide Muslim demonstrations in support of Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda? Why did those 10,000 men armed with swords and axes mass on the Pakistan-Afghanistan frontier, answering some mullah's call to jihad?
This paranoid Islam, which blames outsiders, "infidels," for all the ills of Muslim societies, and whose proposed remedy is the closing of those societies to the rival project of modernity, is presently the fastest growing version of Islam in the world.
in Pakistan on September 11. They were "celebrating, stabbing the fingers on one hand into the palm of the other, to simulate a plane stabbing into a building." Palestinian authorities went into overdrive to suppress images of youths celebrating the deaths in America.
The whole article bares careful reading. You can learn a lot about what is going on in the world today from it.
I personally want to believe that most Muslims are just people who want to live their life, worship their God and raise their kids, and leave the rest of the world alone.
But everyday I see something (Usually not in the liberal press) that gives me reason to believe that this Jihadist movement is a much bigger thing in the Muslim world than we think.
And a much larger danger.
From the comments:
Wow, you mean Islam is a major religion that is not opposed to enjoying sex!!! No wonder there are so many Muslims. Maybe when they say infidels, they are just talking about people that run around screaming about how horrible it is to have sex (and I guess the people that uphold the screamers as our moral guardians).
I don't actually remember saying anything about Islam and sex. But I will now. :)
Apparently sex is very much enjoyed by Muslim men. After all they are allowed to marry up to 4 women. And the hallucinating cave hermit Muhammad, may he be dipped in pig crap, had many wives, and had sex with his slave girls, with (so he said) God's blessing.
One of the most dangerous things about islam is that men are encouraged to be "like Muhammad". What is right for Mohammed is right for you. What Muhammad did is OK for you. Not just OK but the way you SHOULD act.
And women aren't the only things Muslim men enjoy having sex with. The Ayatollah Khomeini actually wrote instructions for proper Muslim approved ways of having sex with little children and animals.
Some of the Ass-a-hole Khomeini's writings.
Here's one quote from Khomeini's book.
"A man can have sex with animals such as sheep, cows, camels and so on.
However he should kill the animal after he has his orgasm. He should not
sell the meat to the people in his own village, however selling the meat to
the next door village should be fine. "
So be causious of men from neighboring villages trying to sell you camels.
Here's another
"A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However he
should not penetrate, sodomising the child is OK. If the man penetrates and
damages the child then he should be responsible for her subsistence all her
life. This girl, however does not count as one of his four permanent wives.
The man will not be eligible to marry the girls sister. "
Wonderful and beautiful religion isn't it?
Here's some info about Muhammed's sex life and how he raped a nine year old girl. Of course he WAS married to her. He married her when she was 6 years old, wasn't it decent of him to wait till she was 9 before he had sex with her?
Thought's from a Muslim who wised up and left the religion including Muhamed's pedophilia
More thoughts on Islam
Some of you who read this are probably thinking this guy really hates Muslims.
No, I don't, I feel sorry for them.
You may be thinking only someone who hates Muslims would write this. If printing the truth, looks like hate speech, then it's the truth that is hateful.
You need some of this
Here's a link to Prez Bush's new plan for NASA.
President Bush's new plan for NASA
And a link to NASA's page where you can request a free publication called spin-off.
Spinoff is NASA's annual premiere publication featuring successfully commercialized NASA technology.
Spinoff
I see that Opportunity, NASA's second Mars rover has landed. And Spirit is better but not fully cured. This is good news.
I suppose there are a lot of people who don't understand what good space exploration is to them.
Here's a good place to go to answer that question.
NASA's spinoff page.
Probably the largest contribution is in the area of micro electronics. Before the space race of the 60s a computer filled an entire building,Sucked thousands of watts of power, and of course they were extremely expensive. I'm writing this on a laptop computer that cost less than a thousand dollars, and uses just a few watts of power.
This difference can be attributed to microchips, and miniaturized electronics. NASA gave a huge boost to this field in their desire to make the components of the Apollo Module smaller and lighter.
Let's think about a few differences Micro electronis have made.
Televisions.
You probably have one or three of these in your home. In the early 60s a TV was run by vaccum tubes. These vaccum tube TVs used a lot of electricity. I remember my mom turning on our TV on chilly mornings instead of the heater! Today a TV is made from microchips. Because of this your TV uses a lot less electricity. Ultimately this may have saved us American taxpayers more money than NASA costs.
Then there's your car.
Remember the gas guzzlers of the 60s and 70s? The same size car today uses much less gas. Much of that gas savings is owed to the miniaturized computer under the hood that controls the engine. How much does that save you daily?
And let's not forget how much cleaner those same cars run today. How much of that reduced pollution is owed to
NASA's help in developing microelectronics?
Fun filled fact...
The average family car today has more computing power than the Apollo lunar landers had.
Are you alive today because of a NASA spinoff? The medical spinoffs from NASA alone could fill a few dozen blogs. But just think about all the high-tech devices that are in the average hospital today that would be impossible without miniaturized electronics. That fancy little box that sits next to your bed and beeps, while it monitors your vital signs 24/7. That High tech CAT scan, or MRI. None would be possible without NASA spinoffs. How much is your life worth?
And one more thought.
NASA doesn't load those rockets up with money and launch it off into space. The NASA budget is spent right here on earth. Mostly right here in the US of A. That money goes to paychecks of people. Everything from floor sweepers to, yes Rocket Scientists. So the money is not dissapearing into nothingness like you would think, based on what some critics are saying.
Here's a few items I pulled from the page above. They are just a few of the many ways NASA has paid for itself.
NASA's spinoff page.
AIR QUALITY MONITOR - Utilizing a NASA-developed, advanced analytical technique software package, an air quality monitor system was created, capable of separating the various gases in bulk smokestack exhaust streams and determining the amount of individual gases present within the stream for compliance with smokestack emission standards.
ENRICHED BABY FOOD - A microalgae-based, vegetable-like oil called Formulaid developed from NASA-sponsored research on long duration space travel, contains two essential fatty acids found in human milk but not in most baby formulas, believed to be important for infants' mental and visual development.
WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM - NASA-developed municipal-size water treatment system for developing nations, called the Regenerable Biocide Delivery Unit, uses iodine rather than chlorine to kill bacteria.
SOLAR ENERGY - NASA-pioneered photovoltaic power system for spacecraft applications was applied to programs to expand terrestrial applications as a viable alternative energy source in areas where no conventional power source exists.
SENSORS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL - NASA development of an instrument for use in space life support research led to commercial development of a system to monitor an industrial process stream to assure that the effluent water's pH level is in compliance with environmental regulations.
FIRE RESISTANT MATERIAL - Materials include chemically-treated fabric for sheets, uniforms for hazardous material handlers, crew's clothing, furniture, interior walls of submersibles and auto racer and refueler suits.
RADIATION INSULATION - Aluminized polymer film is highly effective radiation barrier for both manned and unmanned spacecraft. Variations of this space-devised material are also used as an energy conservation technique for homes and offices. The materials are placed between wall studs and exterior facing before siding or between roof support and roof sheathing. The radiant barrier blocks 95% of radiant energy. Successful retrofit installations include schools and shrink wrap ovens.
DIGITAL IMAGING BREAST BIOPSY SYSTEM - The LORAD Stereo Guide Breast Biopsy system incorporates advanced Charge Coupled Devices (CCDs) as part of a digital camera system. The resulting device images breast tissue more clearly and efficiently. Known as stereotactic large-core needle biopsy, this nonsurgical system developed with Space Telescope Technology is less traumatic and greatly reduces the pain, scarring, radiation exposure, time, and money associated with surgical biopsies.
BREAST CANCER DETECTION - A solar cell sensor is positioned directly beneath x-ray film, and determines exactly when film has received sufficient radiation and has been exposed to optimum density. Associated electronic equipment then sends a signal to cut off the x-ray source. Reduction of mammography x-ray exposure reduces radiation hazard and doubles the number of patient exams per machine.
LASER ANGIOPLASTY - Laser angioplasty with a "cool" type of laser, caller an excimer laser, does not damage blood vessel walls and offers precise non-surgical cleanings of clogged arteries with extraordinary precision and fewer complications than in balloon angioplasty.
ULTRASOUND SKIN DAMAGE ASSESSMENT - Advanced instrument using NASA ultrasound technology enables immediate assessment of burn damage depth, improving patient treatment, and may save lives in serious burn cases.
HUMAN TISSUE STIMULATOR - Employing NASA satellite technology, the device is implanted in the body to help patient control chronic pain and involuntary motion disorders through electrical stimulation of targeted nerve centers or particular areas of the brain.
VOICE-CONTROLLED WHEELCHAIR - NASA teleoperator and robot technology used to develop chair and manipulator that respond to 35 one-word voice commands utilizing a minicomputer to help patient perform daily tasks, like picking up packages, opening doors, and turning on appliances.
MAGNETIC BEARING SYSTEM - Bearings developed from Space Shuttle designs support moving machinery without physical contact, permitting motion without friction or wear, and are now used in electric power generation, petroleum refining, machine tool operation, and natural gas pipelines.
RADIATION HAZARD DETECTOR - NASA technology has made commercially available new, inexpensive, conveniently carried device for protection of people exposed to potentially dangerous levels of microwave radiation. Weighing only 4 ounces and about the size of a cigarette pack, it can be carried in a shirt pocket or clipped to a belt. Unit sounds an audible alarm when microwave radiation reaches a preset level.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE ROBOT - Remotely-operated robot reduces human injury levels by performing hazardous tasks that would otherwise be handled by humans.
PERSONAL ALARM SYSTEM - Pen-sized ultrasonic transmitter used by prison guards, teachers, the elderly, and disabled to call for help is based on space telemetry technology. Pen transmits a silent signal to receiver that will display the exact location of the emergency.
EMERGENCY RESCUE CUTTERS - Lightweight cutters for freeing accident victims from wreckage developed using NASA pyrotechnic technology.
FIREMAN'S AIR TANKS - Lighter-weight firefighter's air tanks have been developed. New back-pack system weighs only 20 lbs. for 30 minute air supply, 13 lbs. less than conventional firefighting tanks. They are pressurized at 4,500 psia (twice current tanks). A warning device tells the fireman when he or she is running out of air.
PERSONAL STORM WARNING SYSTEM - Lightning detector gives 30-minute warning to golfers, boaters, homeowners, business owners, and private pilots.
STUDLESS WINTER TIRES - Viking Lander parachute shroud material is adapted and used to manufacture radial tires, increasing the tire material's chainlike molecular structure to five times the strength of steel should increase tread life by 10,000 miles.
BETTER BRAKES - New, high-temperature composite space materials provide for better brake linings. Applications includes trucks, industrial equipment and passenger cars.
TOLLBOOTH PURIFICATION - A laminar airflow technique used in NASA clean rooms for contamination-free assembly of space equipment is used at tollbooths on bridges and turnpikes to decrease the toll collector's inhalation of exhaust fumes.
WEIGHT SAVING TECHNOLOGY - NASA research on composite materials is used to achieve a 30-percent weight reduction in a twin-turbine helicopter, resulting in a substantial increase in aircraft performance.
IMPROVED AIRCRAFT ENGINE - Multiple NASA developed technological advancements resulted in a cleaner, quieter, more economical commercial aircraft engine known as the high bypass turbofan, featuring a 10-percent reduction in fuel consumption, lower noise levels, and emission reductions of oxides of nitrogen, carbon monoxide, and unburned hydrocarbons.
ADVANCED LUBRICANTS - An environmental-friendly lubricant designed to support the Space Shuttle Mobile Launcher Platform led to the development of three commercial lubricants for railroad track maintenance, for electric power company corrosion prevention, and as a hydraulic fluid with an oxidation life of 10,000 hours.
ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM - The Flywheel Energy Storage system, derived from two NASA-sponsored energy storage studies, is a chemical-free, mechanical battery that harnesses the energy of a rapidly spinning wheel and stores it as electricity with 50 times the capacity of a lead-acid battery, very useful for electric vehicles.
NEW WING DESIGN FOR CORPORATE JETS - NASA-developed computer programs resulted in an advanced, lighter, more aerodynamically-efficient new wing for Gulfstream business aircraft.

These technologies are a structural analysis computer program infrared stress measurement system, and a ride quality meter system.
And another friend of mine.
Empire of the Demented Pixie
There's poem there written by a elder lady in a nursing home.
Anyone who loves or knows and older person should read it.
No! Everybody should read it!
This blog is ran by a good friend of mine who I just found out is a space geek, like me.
Did I ever mention I have an X that has been to the moon?
Ok it's only a little mark on a piece of paper. But, who else do you know that has ANYTHING that has been to the moon?
Info for Net
Karla talks about just about anything that come to mind on her blog, so just drop by occasionally and see what's up, OK.
Side note. I just spell checked this post. It seems a little odd to me the blogger.com's built in spell checker doesn't recognize the word " blog ". ???
